Privacy Policy (Formika Sp. z o.o.) 

Formika Sp. z o.o. (hereinafter: “FORMIKA”) makes every effort to protect the privacy of users of its website (www.formika.com.pl). FORMIKA applies all necessary measures to safeguard data against loss, destruction, disclosure, unauthorised access, or improper use. This page provides basic information about the data we use.

1. Who is the controller of my personal data?

The controller of your personal data is Formika Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Brwinów, ul. św. Jerzego 9, 05-808 Brwinów, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw in Warsaw, 14th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number: 0000374305, NIP: 1070017779, REGON: 142737236.

2. What data is processed by FORMIKA?

FORMIKA processes the following data:

  • first and last name,

  • the name of the company you represent,

  • e-mail address,

  • phone number (only if you choose to provide it).

3. For what purpose does FORMIKA process data?

FORMIKA uses your data to respond to a question submitted via the contact form. The contact form is available on FORMIKA’s website (link: https://www.formika.com.pl/kontakt). The legal basis for processing is your consent.

One of the ways in which your data may be processed is so-called profiling. Profiling consists of using the data we have collected to create a general profile of a customer/potential customer. This enables us to tailor our advertising messages to the known or anticipated needs and expectations of our customers/potential customers. Importantly, profiling is not carried out in a fully automated manner, meaning that in each case human involvement is ensured.

4. How do we obtain data?

All data we process is obtained directly from you, i.e. you provide the data by completing the contact form.

5. Do I have to provide my data?

Providing your data is entirely voluntary. However, if you do not provide it, we will not be able to respond to the question submitted via the contact form.

6. How long do we process personal data?

It is up to you how long we will process your data. If you object to the processing, your data will be deleted without undue delay.

7. Do we share data with other entities?

FORMIKA does not disclose your data to other entities. However, the data we collect may be entrusted to entities providing data processing services (only under an agreement and in accordance with the controller’s instructions), i.e.:

  • companies providing marketing process automation services,

  • hosting providers,

  • Google LLC, with its registered office in Mountain View, California, United States (provider of Google Analytics and Google AdWords services).

In such cases, your data may be transferred to recipients in third countries outside the European Economic Area.

8. What rights do I have in connection with the processing of my data?

In addition to the right to object to processing, you also have the right to:

  • access your data,

  • rectify your data,

  • erase your data,

  • restrict the processing of your data,

  • data portability.

Regardless of the above, you may lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO), if FORMIKA infringes the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).

9. Cookies

FORMIKA’s website uses cookies (“cookies”). Cookies are saved and stored on your computer or other device while you browse the content of FORMIKA’s websites.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:
a) analysing your behaviour on FORMIKA’s website in order to tailor the displayed content and advertising messages to your individual interests,
b) analysing statistical data concerning the behaviour of other users of FORMIKA’s website in order to optimise it,
c) ensuring the security and reliability of FORMIKA’s websites.

Two types of cookies are used on FORMIKA’s website:

  • session cookies, and

  • persistent cookies.

Session cookies are temporary files stored on the user’s end device until logging out, leaving the website, or closing the software (web browser).

Persistent cookies are stored on the user’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the user.
